The CSD in Bucharest has consequences
The LGBTQ community continues to grow in Bucharest. Meanwhile, CSDs are also celebrated here. At this year's event, however, more people came than were actually allowed (due to the applicable Corona requirements).
The consequence: the responsible persons are now charged with a fine. This amounts to a little more than 1,400 euros.
The CSD 2021 and its counter protests
As part of the CSD 2021 in Bucharest, many people came out onto the streets of the city. However, not all of them were about speaking out for more tolerance and for queer rights. Among other things, there were also counter-demonstrations that promoted "more normality". Among others, according to the news portal g4media.ro, the supporters of a national, radical right-wing party were behind these.
