Nieuwezijds sauna is probably the biggest and most famous gay sauna in all of Amsterdam. It is very centrally located in the entertainment district and is only 150 meters away from the Amsterdam Sex Museum. Especially popular in the sauna Nieuwezijds are the motto days like the:

• Mellow Monday
  Every Monday there are free shoulder massages from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at 7:00pm & 9:00pm there is an infusion ceremony in the dry sauna and at 8:00pm there is a chocolate session in the steam sauna. In addition, complimentary healthy snacks will be available throughout the night.

• No Towel Tuesday
  Every Tuesday between 18:00 & 02:00 sauna is exclusively naked, you only get a small towel to sit on.

• Gender Fluids Wednesday
  Every Wednesday, all gender couples and sexual orientations are welcome throughout the day. Again, there is an infusion ceremony in the dry sauna at 7:00pm & 9:00pm respectively and a chocolate session in the steam sauna at 8:00pm.

• The Night Is Young
  Every Thursday all men up to 26 years pay only 10 € entrance fee, and there are infusion ceremonies at 19:00 and 21:00 as well as a sexy body peeling at 20:00.

• Bear Saturday
  On the last Saturday of every month, Bears, Daddies and Hunks get their sweat on with infusion ceremonies at 7:00pm and 9:00pm. Plus, healthy snacks are available all day and delicious soup in the evening.

The prices of Sauna Nieuwezijds are as follows:

• Normal daily admission - 24,50 € (first drink included)
• Sunday to Thursday admission after midnight - 10 €
• Visitors Up to 26 years - 16 € (first drink included)
• 20- visitor card - 210 € (incl. 1. drink at each visit)
