The Angermunder Lake in Düsseldorf

Angermund lake

The Angermunder See is located as the name suggests in the district Angermund and thus belongs to Dusseldorf. It has an area of about 32 hectares and is a former open pit mine (now a quarry pond). It can be reached via the Ratingen exit in the direction of Kaiserswerth. On the right side there are 2 parking lots from which you can reach the lake in a few minutes. But also from the S-Bahn station of the place you need only about 15 minutes on foot to reach the beautiful bathing oasis. The lake is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, volley ball and much more. Even in the late evening hours is still quite a lot of activity here (But only in summer).

But especially in the gay scene, the Angermunder See is very popular. Here meet at almost any time of day countless gay and bisexual men to cruise together. The most popular places are of course the lake itself, the adjacent forest and the countless green spaces. If you finally want to try something new and have fun outdoors, this is the right place for you. All age groups are represented, ranging from young to old, so variety is guaranteed here.

The parking lot at the Thuringian Basin near Erfurt also offers pure variety.
