Summer is approaching with great strides and the sleeves of tops are getting shorter. Anyone who wants to possibly increase their flirting potential here should, among other things, focus on regular training of the forearms.

Ideally, a few dumbbells are available here. These classic training tools may look simple, but they can be used in connection with a wide variety of workouts - including for the forearms, which are becoming increasingly important, especially at this time of year.

The following sections offer a few exercise ideas that may help you increase your fitness level a little more. Trained forearms simply always look sexy!

Exercises for the forearms

Exercise No. 1: Hammer curls

To perform the hammer curls you need said dumbbells, but not increased coordination skills. On the contrary! Simply hold a dumbbell in your right hand and in your left hand and position your forearms at a 90° angle to your upper arms. Now the hands - similar to the biceps curl - are guided in the direction of the shoulders.

By the way, with the help of this exercise you can train not only the forearms, but also the upper arms. Please - of course - pay attention to a clean execution!

Exercise No. 2: Forearm Curls

Here the muscle soreness is almost a little pre-programmed! At least if the forearm muscles have not been used too much in the past.

The procedure? The athlete sits down on a weight bench or other device on the base of which the upper and lower legs can be positioned at 90°. Then reach for the dumbbell and place the forearm on the thigh. Now comes the challenge! The task now is to bring the hand up and bend the wrist slightly accordingly. This small movement causes the forearm muscles to be directly addressed.

(Those who do not have dumbbells, but only a barbell available, simply perform the exercise left and right simultaneously).

Exercise No. 3: Clench fist

It may sound a little "ineffective" at first, but it's not! Rather, it is a wonderful exercise that can be super integrated into everyday office life, among other things.

Simply squeeze a fist 3 x 15 times, for example. As a rule, the harder you squeeze, the greater the effect.

Exercise No. 4: Forearm curls with cable pulley

Here, those who are either gym members or have set up their own home gym at home have an advantage. The cable pulley is a great way to perform a wide variety of exercises in a wide variety of areas.

Among other things, this also makes it possible to address the forearms directly. How. Simply sit on a flat bench or other stable seating opposite the device and perform forearm curls. "Incidentally", this also challenges the upper arms and even the back! After all, its job is to stay straight even under this load. If you're looking for a workout that targets both the upper and lower muscles, this is an excellent choice.

Additional tip: So the sexy forearms can be skillfully set in scene

Many men find well-trained forearms extremely sexy on another man. Who wants to show off here accordingly, should of course not only train, but also know how he can skillfully put his "muscles" in scene.

The following tips will help:

  1. T-shirts are "in"!

... and not only in the tight version! Especially when a top is a little wider, trained forearms can be staged particularly well. Who is particularly confident, of course, can also opt for the skin-tight variant.

  1. Muted colors for classic "understatement

Anyone who trains their body can present the result in an appealing way, especially if they don't "impose" it on their counterpart too much. The magic word? "Understatement." Muscles mixed with muted, elegant colors often have a particularly "sympathetic" effect here.

  1. Shave

Admittedly, the question "Toshave or not to shave?"is a question of individual taste. Nevertheless, there is no question that defined forearms can shine in detail (and attract attention) when they are not covered by hair.
