Nicolas Puschmann had to leave Let's Dance - but why?

It was one of the Let's Dance decisions that many viewers could not understand: Nicolas Puschmann's journey on Let's Dance came to an unexpected end on Saturday. And that, although the ex-Prince Charming had still skimmed 27 points with his Quickstep in the first round.

Shortly after the verdict was announced, voices were raised on social networks criticizing the verdict. More and more viewers demanded that the decision on the final elimination should not lie with the TV community, but should be made by the jury.

Speaking of the jury: Motsi also expressed her dismay that Nicolas now has to set sail. Already during her first evaluation, she emphasized that she would look forward to the show every time, knowing that Nicolas and Vadim would dance again.

A Let's Dance participation with a high degree of difficulty

Let's Dance - Nicolas Puschmann is Out

In the course of time, even Joachim Llambi, among others, somehow turned out to be a Puschmann fan. Again and again he explained how difficult it was to have to dance both the "ladies' steps" and the "men's steps" in same-sex pairings.

Judging by the points alone, the ex-Prince Charming managed to convince as good as ever here. And yet, it still wasn't enough in the end.

The principle that ultimately ensured that he is no longer there is simply explained. The total score is made up of the jury score and the viewers' calls or text messages.

In the past, many favorites had to leave the dance floor prematurely... Probably also because high scores of the jury here calm a little. Freely according to the motto "I don't have to call, because Llambi, Jorge and Motsi have rated well anyway!"has already cost one or the other the victory (or at least the next round).

Nicolas Puschmann with a dignified departure

Of course, no one knows what it looks like inside a person who was actually considered the favorite and now has to drop out prematurely. But both during the verdict and in the interview afterwards, he proved to be a fair loser.

Motsi Mabuse, who visibly shared in the fever, seemed much more dismayed. On Instagram, she spoke of a "great loss" that very night.

Possibly Nicolas will come back though?

Ilse de Lange is currently struggling with an injured foot and was already eyed a little critically by Joachim Llambi yesterday in this context. Should she drop out, Nicolas could move up.

But it would be anything but fair to speculate on this. Because: the Dutchwoman put on an extremely impressive contemporary yesterday - despite her injury. With her likeable manner, she danced her way into the hearts of the fans week after week. Accordingly, the likelihood that many Puschmann fans will now keep their fingers crossed for her is extremely high.

Who has the best chance of winning Let's Dance 2021?

A look at the social networks reveals that Rúrik and Valentina Pahde in particular are given high odds. While the ex-footballer has many female fans anyway, a large part of the GZSZ community is behind "Sunny," the granddaughter of series veteran Jo Gerner.

The coming weeks should be very exciting again... And surely we will see Nicolas Puschmann and Vadim again for the grand finale.
