The Beutwangsee near Nürtingen

Beutwangsee
The Beutwangsee is a beautiful quarry pond located in the western part of Nürtingen. Strictly speaking, it is located near Neckarhausen and has an area of over 6 hectares. Until 1977, gravel and sand were dug here for the construction of the federal roads B313 and B297. Afterwards, a small ditch was dug to the adjacent Neckar River and the former gravel pit was filled with water. Today, the Beutwangsee is one of the most popular recreational areas in the entire region. Among other things, you can enjoy the perfect weather here in summer and go swimming in the lake as the mood takes you. But also for cycling and hiking the surrounding terrain is wonderful.

But that is by no means all there is to experience here at Beutwangsee. Because here especially gay and bisexual men can exchange and gather wonderfully. Because already since its gravel mining times they have gathered and met here for the quick pleasure. Nowadays they meet here mostly in the summer as soon as the weather has reached the right temperatures. Often people meet directly on the beach shore and retreat to the surrounding bushes for cruising.

Likewise, you can also cruise wonderfully at the quarry pond Steinenstadt.
