The Old Cemetery of Heilbronn
The beautiful city of Heilbronn, located in Baden Württemberg, also has an old cemetery. It was built in 1530 (16th century) next to the former Carmelite monastery. Since then it was used as a municipal cemetery until it was turned into a park in 1887. Even today there are more than 200 historical graves and honorary monuments of mayors and celebrities from the city.
But that's not all that the Old Cemetery has to offer. Because as it has been common here for centuries, many gay and bisexual men meet here in the evening to enjoy themselves anonymously and undisturbed. Because at this gay cruising area they can let off steam without being punished by hateful looks. Mostly they meet here because of or on the well-known trampling thread.
