The Almer Weiher has a surface of about 12 hectares and is located southeast of Regensburg and is also directly between the villages of Mintraching and Geising . It is a former gravel pit that was excavated in the 1970s for the construction of the A3 freeway, which is only a few hundred meters away. After the construction it was filled with groundwater and rainwater and grew into a wonderful quarry pond. Today the lake is surrounded by a huge forest area which makes it a very special recreation area. It doesn't matter if you want to swim, hike or just enjoy the nature. Here at the Almer Weiher gather especially in the warm summer months countless nudists that they come here at the large against drawn areas especially at their expense.

Especially at these nudist and nude swimmers areas love it also the gay and bisexual men from the region to stay. Because they can stay here relaxed among themselves and also share intensive hours together. The large sunbathing area in the southern part of the Almer Weiher is especially known for this. As on almost every other nudist beach, the most important thing here is to see and be seen. Mostly people try to seduce each other here with certain looks and hints. For cruising you use the adjacent forest or the lake itself.
