What was ultimately the reason Glööckler had to set sail can certainly not be said 100 percent. What is certain, however, is that he did not have to go alone. Two candidates were voted out at the same time. Peter Althoff is also no longer there.
Harald Glööckler seemed disappointed
Somehow you could tell the designer that his "ejection" was nagging at him. He explained that he would have loved to be in the final. On the other hand, however, he was also in poor health and was glad that he was now out. Actually, that was exactly what he had hoped for.

After Harald Glööckler was unable to gather enough votes for himself, Eric Stehfest ("GSZS"), Filip Pavlovic ("The Bachelorette") and Manuel Flickinger ("Prince Charming") are still in the running. Flickinger in particular should come as a bit of a surprise in this context. While Stehfest and Pavlovic were repeatedly named among the favorites, the ex-Prince Charming contestant has managed to clean up the field from behind - among other things with high likeability ratings. Whether it will ultimately be enough to snatch the crown remains to be seen. Either way, he is already assured of third place.
Speculation about Glööckler's departure
As already mentioned, it is difficult to explain in retrospect why it was not enough for a candidate. Nevertheless, there is currently speculation in the social networks as to why the designer was still caught shortly before the finale.
One point that is mentioned again and again in this context: Glööckler's refusal to take the test. He declared that he was a vegetarian and therefore rejected the potential "bathing" in offal and co. While some viewers celebrated his decision, others condemned the behavior and insinuated that he assumed he was "something better." After all, it had not been demanded that he eat said offal. For many, the statement "I'm a vegetarian" was considered a flimsy excuse in this case. Did his decision cost him votes?
He was also not always on the same wavelength with his fellow campers in recent days. Perhaps there are also several reasons that have ultimately ensured that his fight for the crown is over.
Will Manuel Flickinger succeed in grabbing the crown?
This would certainly be a very special surprise victory. After all, Flickinger would then have managed to prevail over Filip Pavlovic, who was already high in the viewers' favor. The ex-Bachelorette contestant already secured his ticket for the "realjungle" in the lastjungleshow.
Whatever the case, it's already clear that Manuel has represented the community well in the jungle. And even though he may not have been a household name at the beginning of the current season, he has ensured increased visibility. His own personal "fame" may also have benefited from his participation. And once again, a phenomenon is evident for which Evelyn Burdecki, among others, is already known: You don't necessarily have to win as a candidate in a dating show in order to have an impressive TV career thereafter.
