The flap in the White Tower

White tower
The White Tower is one of the last city gates from the former city fortification Nuremberg. It is located directly in the old town of Lorenz near Ludwigsplatz. The tower got its name before the 2nd World War when it was plastered with white mortar, which was later removed to emphasize the barbican. Opposite is the St. Jacob and St. Elizabeth churches. It was not until 1978 that a subway line was built right under the tower and the entrance to the tower was used as the entrance to the subway.

But the White Tower has more to offer than just history and a railroad line. Because the really special thing about the station is the so-called flap, which means the public toilet at the station. This is used by the Nuremberg gay and bisexual scene as a retreat and gay cruising area. Here they can enjoy themselves at will and share moments together.

But also in the Stadtpark Saarbrücken you can make the best contact with gays and bi's.
