The dam in Pöhl

The Pöhl dam has an area of over 3,920 hectares, making it the third largest of its kind in Saxony. Its crown (the barrier structure) has a height of just under 380 meters and a length of 312 meters, with a width of just over 10 meters. It was built to secure the drinking and shower water needed by the surrounding towns in case of a prolonged drought in the summer. But for the most part it is used for energy production and recreation. Today, it is therefore an excellent place for boating, swimming, walking and various sports, even in summer.

But also for gay cruising the Pöhl Dam is excellent. For this, the large section at the nudist beach Helmsgrün is best suited. Because there loll in the warm sun countless naked men who are for the most part on the hunt for some fun. Here it counts as on any other beach also that the right eye contact with the certain hints takes place. But not only, because also at the end of the beach in the small forest is the true gay cruising area of the dam Pöhl.
