The Petersberg in Erfurt

Petersberg

The Petersberg has a height of about 232 meters and is located in the Thuringian capital near Erfurt. On its top is a former military site that was painstakingly redeveloped in 1990 and is now the city's most popular attraction with around 550,000 tourists a year. The Petersberg Citadel is also located on the site and houses St. Peter's Church inside, which was once the largest Romanesque monastic church in all of Thuringia. The mountain can be reached both by car and by public transport. The ascent, usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

But not only the tourists love this beautiful Petersberg in Erfurt, but also the gay scene from the entire region. They meet here every day from 9 pm as soon as it is nice and dark and they have their peace here. The most popular meeting place is at the info desk of the Petersberg. Here you can meet both gays and straight gentlemen who are looking for a quick pressure release. In addition, one meets here but also numerous leather and DWT friends. Once you have found yourself here, you can comfortably look for a dark and cozy corner to have your fun.

Lake Stotternheim is also a great place for cruising.
