The Birch Lake in Nuremberg

Birkensee is located directly at the Nuremberg interchange, where the A3 and A9 highways intersect. It has a water surface of about 4.6 hectares and has numerous flattened steep banks and sunbathing lawns. On average, it has a depth of up to six meters and is about 450 meters long. Thus, it is aperfect place for summer recreation, swimming and sunbathing. By the way, the small Birkensee is only 900 meters away from its big brother.

But you can not only swim and sunbathe in this wonderful region around the Birkensee, but also wonderfully cruising. This means that around the lake men of all ages meet to satisfy themselves together. But mostly they meet here in the summer, as soon as the weather has the right temperatures for nudist sunbathing. Thereby it is mostly to see and to be seen. The numerous trees and bushes are suitable for cruising here.
