The old Botanical Garden of Zurich

Old Botanical Garden

The Old Botanical Garden in Zurich is a beautiful green area. It is located just a few meters from the Ethnological Museum of the University of Zurich. The green park is surrounded by the Schanzengraben, which runs directly from the Sihl and once flows into Lake Zurich. The park was built in the middle of the 19th century. It is especially known for its octagonal greenhouse, which is equipped with palm trees and a collection of medicinal plants.

But even more interesting is the Old Botanical Garden for the gay scene of the city. Because they have made the park their own early to cruise here undisturbed and to indulge themselves anonymously. This means that they meet here throughout the day gay or bisexual men to live out their deepest fantasies with each other. Preferably, one meets here but in the early evening, once the daytime hustle and bustle has decreased.

But also at the Platzspitz you can cruise cool.
