Harald Glööckler and Kim Tränka on Grill den Henssler

Fans of the jungle camp should be particularly pleased: Among others, Kim Tränka and Harald Glööckler will soon be taking part in Grill den Henssler. After all, they have now had enough time to recover from the stresses and strains of South Africa, haven't they?

Accordingly, expectations for very special episodes are already very high - especially among fans of the cooking show. A look at the current program schedule reveals that the episode with Harald Glööckler has been set for April 10. Here he will compete against "the master" together with Anouschka Renzi and Filip Pavlovic. On May 8, the time has come for Prince Charming Kevin Tränka as well. He will take part in the Mother's Day Special.

Kim Tränka cooks together with his mother

While the episode about Harald Glööckler is likely to revolve around the jungle camp, Kim Tränka's episode will be almost familiar. The ex-Prince Charming will be competing against Steffen Henssler together with his mother.

Fans of the show may already know her. Back then, she was celebrated by the community on social networks, among others, for her easy-going, cool manner. The two are coached by Johann Lafer.

One week later, on May 15, Bruce Darnell will also be able to show what he's made of in terms of cooking.

What is Grill den Henssler actually about?

It's certainly no exaggeration to say that the name actually says it all here. On "Grill den Hennsler," three celebrities compete against Steffen per show. Within the framework of various courses, their task is to collect more points from the jury than he does. Anyone who thinks that this is not possible is mistaken. Certainly because the celebrities are coached by professional chefs and prepared accordingly, they always manage to beat Steffen. There have even been seasons in which exactly that happened particularly often.

Accordingly, we can only wait and see how Glööckler, Tränka and Darnell will do. And if there is no clear victory in the cooking, it is still possible to score points between the courses and in the various rounds of the game. Here, general cooking knowledge is often tested.

Steffen Henssler and Laura Wontorra have already been criticized for homophobic comments

Despite all the enthusiasm that may now arise within the community and among trash TV fans, many have not forgotten that there was a point in the history of Grill den Henssler hab, which led to a real shitstorm. It was several years ago when Steffen spoke of "half-gay cooking". The pejorative undertone could not be ignored by many at the time. And presenter Laura Wontorra didn't cover herself with glory either when she declared that Pecorino was the "warm brother of Parmesan". Here, too, there was a hail of negative comments.

Let's hope that the upcoming season will be spared from incidents of this kind. Even if comments like these are certainly for many under "That was not meant that way!", they show once again that the boundaries between "It was just a joke!" and homophobia should never be blurred. After all, homophobia is simply not funny.
