The finale of Prince Charming season 3

Robin and Maurice are in the final

Since the penultimate episode it was clear: Robin and Maurice have made it to the finals of the Prince Charming season. Now it's up to them to give their all once again to convince the prince.

This time, too, the big feelings obviously play an important role. Both candidates have resolved to give their all, to be themselves and to prove to Kim that they really mean it. It's also hard for the viewer to escape the hearts flying around.

Robin, in particular, struggles with his emotions in the final meters and receives support from his mom, among others, who is connected to him via video, while Kim enjoys his last single date with Maurice. While the two eat pizza romantically, he, Robin, is allowed to go boating and snorkeling with the prince afterwards.

Despite a slight seasickness that afflicts Robin, nothing stands in the way of a romantic end to the day. Maurice, meanwhile, talks to his girlfriend - also via video - about what happened. And even if TV dating shows have to defend themselves against a negative image every now and then, it seems clear at the latest: the tears that flowed in the last episode were certainly real. Both Maurice and Robin put their heart and soul into it.

Different messages for the finale

Robin and Maurice were each allowed to write Kim a letter. It quickly becomes apparent that the respective contents could not have been more different. While Maurice's letter reads a bit like that of a teenager who is head over heels in love, Robin holds back a bit and instead thinks about what the future might hold for both of them.

But in the end, it's Kim who has to make a decision. The grand finale in this season is no different from its predecessors. There is talking, smiling, flirting and sobbing. But before the final decision is made, Kim once again sums up the best moments with his "tie contenders".

Finally, Kim lets his heart speak when he says he chose Maurice because the feelings he developed for Robin weren't enough. Robin takes the whole thing in stride and is certainly much calmer than many dating show fans are used to from a runner-up.

At the end, there is a romantic declaration of love to Maurice and a long kiss. Kim explains that he can definitely imagine a future together with his sweetheart. Time will tell, however, to what extent this will ultimately be realized. And even if most of the relationships that began in a dating show were unfortunately not under a good star, this does not mean that there could not be exceptions. The reunion show at the latest will show in which direction the love between Kim and Maurice could develop.
