Every couple that has been together for a while knows: "At some point" the first Christmas will be celebrated together. If you don't feel like visiting a restaurant here and want to prove your culinary skills to the other person, you often swing the wooden spoon yourself. But what if the one who is to be impressed lives vegan?
No problem! There are quite a few vegan Christmas recipes that are not only fun, but are also likely to make the other person's eyes wide open. And who knows? Maybe the dessert will be all the sweeter?
With the following recipe inspirations, nothing can actually go wrong. The complete recipes can easily be found on the Internet.

Vegan Christmas recipes for loved ones

Tip No. 1: The "Roast

This is a - in a positive way - real "bragging menu". Among other things, the chestnut nut roast is also loved by passionate meat eaters. It tastes not only festive, but also incredibly juicy. It becomes especially tempting when served with classic roast sauce and dumplings.
However, since vegan roasts are a bit more elaborate, it makes sense to have rehearsed the dish at least once before the "big day." If you are looking for a slightly simpler, but at least as festive dish, you can also replace the roast with seitan goulash.

Tip No. 2: Red cabbage soup

Looking for a festive appetizer? In the vegan field, nothing really leads past the red cabbage soup in this context. It not only looks good, but can optionally be refined with a few "extras", such as some cress or sautéed smoked tofu. If you want to make it a little creamier, you can also add some vegan cream.

Tip No. 3: Bowls

Ideal for those who not only want to enjoy with the darling in spe, but also cook together! Bowls have long had to defend themselves against their reputation as classic hipster food. However, the bowls with the healthy ingredients can do even more. If you go for the right festive treats here, you can also integrate the bowl into the menu under the Christmas tree. Absolute classics, which may not be missing in a vegan Bowl actually, are red cabbage, mushrooms and potatoes.
When cutting the ingredients together, you(n) then often quickly come closer.

Tip No. 4: Dishes with cranberry

Cranberries are a delicious contrast to many vegetables. Especially in a mix with savoy cabbage and various types of cabbage, they can be used to create great accents. Those who are looking for a particularly festive variant, combine cranberries with savoy cabbage roulades.
This, by the way, is a recipe idea that is sure to impress not only the heartthrob, but also someday the in-laws-to-be.

Tip No. 5: Vegan risotto

Who actually said that only dumplings should be served as a side dish at Christmas? Rice is at least as popular (and suitable) when it comes to setting great accents. Those who even want to give rice a "starring role" can also opt for a real "all-rounder" for the holidays: risotto. Here, the rule is often: the greener, the better. Whether with basil, broccoli or Brussels sprouts, risotto is one of those dishes that definitely should not be underestimated when it comes to putting the motto "love goes through the stomach"tothe test.
