Young High School Musical actor Larry Saperstein has come out as bisexual.

At the moment, every now and then a small jolt goes through the world of the "rich and beautiful". Many actors and actresses are coming out as queer. Recently, for example, Larry Saperstein came out.

Many know the artist from the well-known "High School Musical" series. Here he could already play himself into the hearts of many viewers. Accordingly, it is not really surprising that most people reacted positively to his decision to come out.

Larry Saperstein comes out to his fans via TikTok

Outings via social networks are particularly popular these days. Here, virtually "the whole world" can participate in people's reactions and congratulate them "live". This is exactly what Larry Saperstein took advantage of. He used the TikTok platform to say: "Yes, I'm bi!".

Why he decided to take this step just now is not clear. But actually it is also completely irrelevant WHEN he came out. It is far more important that he has certainly given courage to many young people with his statement.

In his TikTok video, the actor also lets it be known that it is certainly not unexpected for many of his fans that he not only likes women, but also men. Among other things, thanks to the inserted hashtag "#pride" no questions remain unanswered. Saperstein is bi... And stands by it. Openly. Honestly and with exactly the authenticity that many have long appreciated about him anyway.

As a "newly outed" man, he has now also already made a good resolution: In one of his latest posts on Twitter, he writes that he needs to learn how to pull off the drag look before the end of Pride Month.

"High School Musical" - very popular with young queers, among others

The various parts of "High School Musical" and, of course, the series now play an important role in the young LGBTQ scene. Many queers celebrate the plots, which have long since become cult.

The fact that more and more people are daring to step out of the shadows of their roles, and that they then also star in such relevant classics, shows how present the topic of "queerness" has now become in everyday life - and in Hollywood, among other places.

Do outings harm your career?

Fortunately, apparently not necessarily! On the contrary! Many actors and actresses could even profit from their outings in the past and expand their fan base more and more. However, it should not be concealed that some artists and actresses have also had to gather negative experiences here and openly report that, for example, as a gay man, they are only allowed to play gay men.

Compared to the sports world, however, the film industry seems to deal with outings a little more openly. In soccer, for example, the pressure is usually many times greater, which means that some men are late to admit that they love the same sex. Unfortunately, the old role models ("Sporty men are strong and therefore not gay!" etc.) still play a frighteningly large role in this context.

In the meantime, however, there are numerous projects and campaigns - both in the film and sports business - that are intended to encourage people to come out of the closet. If these are then supplemented by such "small" actions as the media-effective outing of Larry Saperstein... All the better.

Soon it finally starts again, because it starts again the summer house of the stars 2021
