The Schiller Park near Wedding

The Schiller Park has a very spacious area of about 29 hectares and is located in the Berlin district of Wedding, which belongs to the district Mitte. It was started to be built already in 1898 and has been embellished every now and then since then. It has countless sunbathing areas, which were specially created so that you can leave your everyday stress behind while relaxing in the sun. But especially popular here in the park is the old Wall Mauer with its Schützenhäuschen. This is always used as a photo backdrop by tourists.

But at least as popular here in Schillerpark is the Wunderwolle Gay Cruising Area. Here, numerous gay and straight men meet in summer and winter to cruise together. The most popular place in the park is on the west side at the corner of Dubliner Straße and Edinburger Straße. There one meets in the darkness usually starting from 23 o'clock to the wild driving. (This is where the former flap used to be).
