The parking lot can be reached by driving from Cloppenburg on the federal highway 213 in the direction of Ahlhorn. Follow this route for 10 kilometers until you reach left turn onto the street "To the fish ponds". Once there, follow this lane for another 3.5 kilometers to the end of the road and turn right. Less than 200 meters further on is the Ahlhorner Fischteiche parking lot on the left.
