Cafe Spund Hamburger opened its doors in 1974
Since then it is the oldest gay bar in Germany. It is one of the few bars that has been open permanently for over 45 years. In the scene Café Spund is one of the most popular meeting places! In September 2019, the owners changed, since then it is under new management. The quiet cozy atmosphere with the beautiful winter garden and new furniture with a view of the greenery distinguishes it.
The audience is very mixed, but gay oriented.
Celebrities like Barbara Valentin & Freddy Mercury showed up as guests at Cafe Hamburg in the 1980s

Der Gründer dieses Café Herr hauptmann war ein toller Kerl.
Leider wohne ich nicht mehr in HH, sollte ich wieder in meiner alte Heimatstadt sein ,werde ich sicher 💯 % einkehren.
