Branitzer Badesee is located in the southeastern part of Cottbus between the towns of Branitz and Kiekebusch. It has a water surface of about 5.2 hectares, which is ideal for swimming and bathing in the summer. It is surrounded by a 1.7 kilometer long shore / hiking trail, which is perfect for jogging and walking. In addition, it has at the northern tip of the lake a tasty snack bar which is open in the Summer each with can cool down with cold ice or beer. But that's not all, because also on the west side of the bathing lake awaits a surprise that probably particularly appeals to every free spirit.

Because here is a beautiful and quiet nudist beach, which is very popular especially in the gay scene. Here people meet throughout the summer to sunbathe together, as God created you. But even if the sun goes to your head and you don't feel like walking to the snack bar, you can cool off in a relaxed way by gay cruising in the forest. Cruising is done all year round in the forest behind the meadow, but in winter you have to be patient and lucky to find a suitable partner.
