The parking lot at Barleber See II near Magdeburg

Lake Barleben II

Barleber See II has an area of about 51 hectares and is located in the northern part of Magdeburg. It is located only 180 meters east of the Barleber Lake I. It was created in 1995, after a gravel pit was built here. This gravel and sand was used for the construction of the A2 and A14 freeways. It is also less than 150 meters from the Central Canal, which runs into the Elbe River 5 kilometers away. Today it is filled with about 2.81 million cubic liters of groundwater and rainwater and is therefore a beautiful quarry pond. Here romp in the warm summer months countless bathers and water sports enthusiasts to enjoy the great weather in all trains.

But also the gay scene has discovered the wonderful Barleber See II for themselves. They use the quarry pond usually in the late evening and night hours for seductive gay cruising. For this, they usually meet at the parking lot, which is located across from the lock tour or on the adjacent walking and shore path. For cruising you use the whole area of the parking lot with all its hidden corners. But also the surrounding bushes and partly wooded landscape is used for the act of love.

If you are ever in the area you should definitely visit the parking lot at the zoo near Duisburg.
