On the way to a sexy beach body - why swimming is so healthy

Admittedly, sometimes it's not easy to motivate yourself to do sports. Every now and then, the inner pig is stronger and sometimes it's harder than expected to decide on a sport in the first place. Swimming is very high on the popularity scale for many. This is a healthy and effective sport that can incidentally create the foundation for a sexy six pack. Even those who would like to lose a few excess pounds can benefit from swimming in many ways.

The regular movements can promote blood circulation in the skin and thus help to achieve a fresher look. A great foundation for summer flirting, isn't it?

In case of doubt, however, it is important to consult your doctor briefly beforeembarkingon a "hobby swimmer's career". After all, people who suffer from cardiac insufficiency, for example, need to be particularly careful here.

In general, however, swimming is a sport that appeals to a wide range of people, is easy on the joints, and can be done both indoors and outdoors.

What are the benefits of swimming?

Regardless of whether you are particularly persistent or merely a beginner, swimming is associated with many benefits.

The following sections show that this type of fitness is more than "just" exercise and that the flirt factor can definitely be increased at the lake and in the swimming pool.

Benefit #1: Swimming can help prevent or fight obesity

More than half of the total German population now suffers from obesity. Many find it difficult to lose weight because the extra weight has already progressed to such an extent that it restricts freedom of movement and places excessive strain on the joints.

Swimming is considered by many to be the best alternative here for losing the first kilos and developing a new body feeling. Another advantage for untrained people is that the risk of injury in the water is very low.

In addition, with the help of swimming it is possible to burn comparatively many calories. With the right technique and speed, up to 900 calories can be lost in one hour. This effect is partly due to the water and its resistance. In addition, the body is busy compensating for the temperature difference with the water. Energy is also required for this process.

Benefit #2: Joint and back pain can often be reduced

It is not only people who are overweight who suffer from back and/or joint pain. Complaints like these can often be alleviated by exercise and muscle building in the corresponding areas.

Training in the water relieves the joints and back and - depending on the intensity of the training - there is even the possibility of building up the muscles in a targeted manner in order to (ideally even) declare war on back pain in the long term.

Even people who suffer from osteoarthritis are often recommended swimming as the ideal sport. The mix of movement and little strain is convincing. And: those who do not have to deal with back and joint pain often benefit from a straight posture. An "extra" that makes you look particularly attractive (and healthily self-confident) to others.

Advantage No. 3: Swimming trains the entire body

Swimming uses a wide variety of muscle groups. Depending on the swimming style, however, individual areas can be addressed particularly intensively.

Breaststroke mainly challenges the chest, shoulders, arms and legs. Backstroke trains trunk and back muscles. Who wouldn't want to lean on a strong upper body every now and then?

The swimming pool as a flirt location?

Shared hobbies can connect. Many relationships (or affairs) originally started with a "completely harmless visit to the swimming pool.

In sunshine and in sexy swim shorts it is often a little easier to flirt! So there's nothing to stop you from moving your next workout out into the fresh air and cool water, is there?

The sporty view over the edge of the plate has already helped many to their dream body.
