The Eurovision Song Contest is known to be an international spectacle in which the musical acts of the various European nationalities compete. In the end, the spectators and the juries of the individual participants determine their favorite.
This year, the ESC was held in Turin, because the winners of the previous year came from Italy.
Now, after a few days have passed since the final, a look back is ventured. Because: The organizers have released an odds analysis, which provides revealing insights into the interest of the individual countries in the ESC. Among other things, this shows that more than 160 million people sat in front of their screens this year.
So although a lot of people are apparently still interested in the music highlight, far fewer viewers tuned in this year than before, when the figure was well over 180 million.
