The Bullenwiese - Ricklinger Kiesteiche is a dredging lake landscape covering several square kilometers in the heart of Hanover. Among the most popular lakes here are the "Large pond" with an area of 20.5 hectares, the "Seven meter pond" with an area of 6 hectares and the "Triangle pond" with about 4.5 hectares. Especially at the "Seven meter pond"  nude bathing is desired, to which there are on the north side of the lake a huge nudist sunbathing area.

Therefore, it is not too surprising that the gay men from Lower Saxony feel so comfortable here in the summer. One could believe that this wonderful quarry pond landscape was created only for the gay cruising scene. Therefore, almost every spot in this wonderful area is suitable for cruising. But the most popular here are the "Bullenwiese" and the piece of forest at the nudist lawn.

Bullenwiese:
The Bullenwiese can be reached via the forest parking lot on Brückstraße. From there you just have to follow the signs with "Union" until you reach the Großer Schlagbaum. There already begins the gay cruising area for young and old. But there is no classic lawn as you would expect from the name, but small bulges between the bushes that stretch with the trails like an idyllic maze over the area.
Alternatively, the Bullenwiese is also accessible for pedestrians and cyclists coming from the city via the parking lot Pänner-Schuster-Weg. From there it is about a 20-minute walk.

Nudist lawn:
The nudist lawn can be reached directly via the street "Döhrener Masch". From there it is only a few meters to the two spacious sunbathing lawns in the northern part of the "Sieben-Meter-Teich". Here you can relax and enjoy the sun or go for a swim as you were made to do.For cruising own here the lake itself close to perfect or the surrounding forest with its bushes.
