Let's Love" also features two gay men!

Next Monday, a new dating singles show will see the light of day on TV. Two gay men will also be taking part in "Let's Love - Eine Hütte voller Liebe".

It remains to be seen whether they both like each other and whether there will even be more development here. Certainly, it would be more than cliché to assume that they would fall in love with each other at first sight just because they both like men and happen to participate in the same format. But who knows? Maybe Daniel and Sanijel will actually find each other? It's possible... .

Let's Love" starts on 25.10.2021

What is "Let's Love" about?

It remains to be seen whether "Let's Love" will manage to match the successes of "Love Island" and the like. The basic concept is at least easy to understand. Two singles each move into a hut - for at least 24 hours and thus have the opportunity to get to know each other very intensively within a short time.

Among the candidates are Daniel and Sanijel. Both are single, both are gay and will accordingly move into the hut together.

For the viewer, it should be interesting to see how not only the two men but also the others get to know each other, what they talk about, and whether a couple is possibly already going at it. The circumstance of spending several hours in close quarters with a (still) complete stranger can also be very challenging. After all, no one can withdraw here to think about their feelings.

If both like each other, the 24-hour date can be extended. Both are then together for a maximum of five days and five nights.

Who are Daniel and Sanijel?

Daniel is 29 years old and currently lives in Spain. He emigrated some time ago and likes to do magic. Sanijel is said to be very interested in psychology. In addition, romance is very important to him. He should not be completely unknown to die-hard fans of dating formats. Among other things, he has already participated in the past in the format "First Dates".

The concept of this show is similar - at least in its basic features - to "Let's Love". Again, it's about meeting a person for the first time, learning a lot about them, and then deciding if they both have a future... Or not.

"Let's Love" is already successful in another country

The concept of "Let's Love" is not new either. The show, which is hosted by Jana Ina Zarrella by the way, is based on the Dutch "Let Love Rule". And even though the rules may sound very simple so far, the likelihood that "Let's Love" will be a success in this country as well can certainly be rated as high.

However, it should not be too hot then - with regard to the broadcasting time. Because: the program will be shown in the afternoon program at 17:05.

Queer dating formats on the rise

Even if the candidates on "Let's Love" are mostly straight, no one can currently deny that dating shows on a wide variety of stations are not increasingly appealing to queer target groups. All seasons of the "gay Bachelor" "Prince Charming" were very successful. And also "Princess Charming" was in no way inferior to the popularity of the format. In addition, specials like "Take me out - Boys Boys Boys" are ensuring that the LGBTQI+ community is increasingly finding its way into TV programming.

The fact that "Let's Love" now also features two gay men, Daniel and Sanijel, is positively received by many TV viewers. Others wonder why more queer candidates or female candidates were not cast. Perhaps, if this is produced, in the second season?

By the way, these are 5 signs of a toxic relationship.
