The brick lake of Schwerin

The Ziegelsee Schwerin has a size of about 300 hectares with a maximum water depth of 34 meters. It is divided into the outer lake and the Ziegelinnensee which has an area of 5.6 hectares. These two sections of the lake are equipped with a lovely shore path for walkers and cyclists.

Here, mainly gay and straight men meet on the shore that lies parallel to Dr. Hans Wolf Street. There on the walkway you run into each other in the truest sense of the word. This gay cruising area is only busy in the evening because during the day there are too many passers-by. For cruising you use the benches, stairs and bushes.

The rose garden of Güstrow is not too far away.
