Queer Lounge Jena - Gay and Lesbian Youth Café

The Queer Lounge Jena exists for about 10 years and has become a non-profit association since 06.03.2015 through restructuring.

The purpose of the Queer Lounge Jena is, on the one hand, to inform and educate the general public on the topic of the diversity of sexual identities and orientations. On the other hand, to support people who are in need of help due to personal and social conflicts regarding their sexual identity or orientation.

In addition, there is our gay-lesbian youth coffee in the tower at the Kassablanca which serves as a meeting place for members of the gay, lesbian, bi and transsexual scene in the youth and night culture of Jenens. Here you can party and flirt free of discrimination or hostility. There you can simply spend a great time, among like-minded and interested people.

The commitment of the Queer Lounge Jena is the idea to enrich the small but exciting scene in Jena. To do this, they naturally look beyond the narrow-minded people. They cooperate with other clubs and associations such as Queerweg e. V., Aidshilfe Thüringen or the radio Queerfunk and many others. Everything to support the Jener gay scene and to offer them a great offer.
